Janitors across Canada are organizing to win better working conditions, respect at work, and to raise industry standards for all cleaners.

SEIU Local 2 represents more than 10,000 janitors including members in Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver and Halifax!

We are proud to be a part of the Service Employees International Union’s Justice for Janitors (J4J) campaign, a movement of more than 225,000 janitors across Canada and the United States. We are united by the belief in the dignity and worth of workers and the services they provide and dedicated to improving the lives of workers and their families.

The goal of SEIU’s J4J Movement is to lead the way to a more just and humane society; building power for all janitors by developing member leadership and activism, winning strong contracts, organizing unorganized janitors, building political and community power, and engaging in direct action that demonstrates our strength and determination to win.
